Response:
This song is one of my favorite and that's why I chose it for the "Response to Lyrics" assignment. I don't now how this song how this song directly relates to me (other than I'm a teenager...) but I like this song. What I enjoy about is the rhythm and the lyrics. But what truly makes me like this song is how good the artist captures teen spirit. If you think it doesn't, I don't see how you u would, then you don't know how most teenager are LOL. Come on we're loud, we love being entertain, and we all have problems (or drama what ever you want to call it) that we would love to get away from or confront. What I think that this song reveals about Nrivana is that they know what being a teenager is like and that they are and american rock band. "Smells like teen spirit" entered Nirvana entered into the mainstream.
